The BOSPHORUS

It was an unforgettable cruise along the Bosphorus, The majestic strait that runs through Istanbul, Linking Europe and Asia.

Throught the cruise boat I saw the dramatic sights lining the Bosphorus  wooded shoores: mosques, a Bridge that for a time was the world's longuest, historic villages, forteress like the Anadolu Hsari, ...
a very nice cruise just I will leave you with those pictures that I took!

Blue Mosque

It has never been called by Turks as "The Blue Mosque"throughout the history. It is the Sultan Ahmed Mosque.
It has been known with the name of Blue Mosque by most of The westerners, because of its famous blue tiles Iznik (Nicaea) that adorn the interior walls of the mosque. These are more than 21000 in number. In those handmade tiles along blue colour, also white green and other colours were used.

A cold morning in Istanbul


 It was grey and sometime raining that morning !
But I decided to go out to discover the city

you feel good when you walk in a new city !! impressed by its houses, its design, its colours !
you walk and you walk !!!




And the thing that takes your attention in Istanbul is MOSQUES!!
You can find a lots of it; with two minarates, foor and the bigest with six minarats and here I am talking about the blue Mosque























I let enjoy those picture, hile I finish my walk !
I think I am lost :p in the city !!!
